The Jewish people have often made tremendous contributions in the field of entertainment, specifically in the area of comedy. We have used comedy as a way to survive and make fun of ourselves.
We will cover the earliest comedy writers and performers from the 1950’s to the present-day Jerry Seinfeld and Sarah Silverman. From Norman Lear’s All In The Family to Lorne Michael’s Saturday Night Live.
Come join this lively, interactive class as we study and enjoy (through laughter) the Jewish writers, producers, directors, actors, and of course The Comedians. One prerequisite is you MUST have a sense of humor and the ability to laugh or at least smile. This class will fill up quickly so register today!
