Loaf Actually: A Carb Competition
Passover is almost here… which means the countdown to saying goodbye to chametz has begun. But before the matzah takes over, we’re giving carbs the send-off they truly deserve.

Join us on March 28 at 1:00 PM at Pan Pacific Park for Loaf Actually: A Carb Competition — a playful pre-Passover showdown where we honor our favorite breads, pastries, noodles, and baked goods before they disappear from our lives for eight long days.

Here’s how it works:
🥖 Bring a carb. Sweet, savory, homemade, store-bought — all carbs are welcome.
🎤 Make your case. You’ll get a moment to advocate for your dish. Tell us why it rises above the rest.
🗳 Taste and vote. Everyone samples the spread and helps crown the carb champions.

Awards will be given for:
• Best Savory
• Best Sweet
• Most Creative Carb
• Best Homemade Dish
• Best Overall (The Carb Champion)

There will also be SICK prizes for the winners — because if there were ever a competition you kneaded to win… it’s this one.

We’ll meet in the park, share an aggressively carb-heavy spread, and give chametz the celebration it deserves. Think of it as our last carb supper before Passover.

Trybal Gatherings is a social organization and community for Jewish adults in their 20s and 30s.
