Organizer: Base LGSQ
Ages 20s, 30s

Join Artist Rachel Ellison of Bat Sarah Press and Rav Moshe of Base Logan Square for Making Light! Come beautify the mitzvah of welcoming Shabbat as we explore the interconnection between light, Torah, and art making. We will initially learn Jewish texts about light and Jewish conceptions of light with Rav Moshe, and then Artist Rachel Ellison will lead us in creating our own Shabbat candles. No skill level required! As always there will be something to drink and delicious to nosh on! Address and details provided the evening before the event.
