NO. MORE. ZOOM. No more chat boxes. No more internet connectivity issues. Just Shabbat. With each other. Live & Unplugged, like it should be.

We hope you’ll join Washington Hebrew’s 2239 community, one of most vibrant Jewish Millennial scenes in the country, for our first in-person Metro Minyan in over a year. With catering by Schmaltz Bros, Torah study over drinks, spirited music, and welcoming community, this is the Judaism we’ve been missing over the past year.

Come casual, bring a picnic blanket, and reconnect with the things that matter most.

Tickets are limited in accordance with WHC guidelines, so get yours ASAP! We will have a waiting list open as well.

When: Friday, August 27, 6:15 “Shot of Torah” (Torah study over drinks). 7pm Shabbat service, followed by picnic-style dinner.

Where: Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb Street, NW

Cost: $18

Dinner: TBA Picnic-style dinner

PLEASE NOTE: This event will be held outside in accordance with WHC guidelines, which we all know can change. We will email all registered participants the week of August 27th with our most recent safety measures. For your safety and the safety of our 2239 community, all participants must abide by the guidelines in place. In the event of inclement weather (or cicadas), we will cancel and refund tickets.
