Musical Tashlich and Compassionate Kapparot

Tashlich and Compassionate & Kosher Kapparot (Sunday Morning after Rosh Hashanah) Oceanside in Marina Del Rey
As one of the most mystical parts of the Jewish New Year, Tashlich is a time of personal reflection, forgiveness and cleansing for the coming year.
We release last year’s negativity and bad habits as we cast the symbolic bread crumbs into the deep water of the ocean.
Kapparot will be done with tzedakah in the place of an animal, and the funds will be given to folks in need as is the traditional practice.
This special ceremony is for everyone in the Pico Shul community, including children! Kids can participate and will also enjoy music and songs at Tashlich.
We will bring plenty of bread and copies of the Tashilch service, but feel free to bring your own Siddur if you wish.
