NoVA Tashlich with GatherDC and Rodef 2100

Join friends at GatherDC & Rodef 2100 for this special Rosh Hashanah ritual!
We’ll be gathering together for tashlich (i.e. casting away), a cathartic tradition for the Jewish New Year in which we toss pieces of old bread (or pebbles, leaves, sticks, etc.) into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets and disappointments from the past year.
GatherDC and Rodef 2100 will provide the materials – just bring yourself! We look forward to coming together for this special tradition.
When: Thursday, September 25 from 6-7pm
Where: An accessible waterfront location in Arlington. The exact location will be shared with attendees.
What to expect: Join other Jewish 20s and 30s for ritual, reflection, and meaning-making as we head into the new year. From 6:00-6:30 there will be pizza provided. BYOsnacks and picnic blanket!
Cost: Free!
