Nu Wave — Sweet Return

Organizer: NuRoots
Ages 20s, 30s
Cast off, let go! Join us and our friends at NuBloom in Hollywood for future forward Tashlich — art, food, ritual, and sensory exploration.

Join NuRoots’ community of young adults and NuBloom’s families with young children for a big, fun afternoon of immersive experiences and a reimagined Tashlich ritual with Rabbi David Kasher. The high holiday tradition invites us to symbolically cast into water our missteps and burdens from the past year and celebrate our capacity for change. A sweet release, a soulful reset, a cleaner slate, an open heart.

We request you arrive no later than 2:45 pm for our community Tashlich experience.

This ticketing page is for young adults 21–39. If you’re looking for tickets for families, please visit nubloomla.org/sweetreturn. Your ID must match your order — please make sure to enter the correct birth year. Sorry, no door sales.

NuRoots’ Sweet Return festival arrives September 21–October 2 with a two-week celebration of the High Holidays and a full slate of in-person events. Bringing together L.A.’s diverse and inclusive community of young adults in their 20s and 30s and made in partnership with visionary organizations and co-creators, NuRoots’ festivals have become citywide traditions. Discover the festival at nuroots.org/sweetreturn.
