Ages 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s+

Join LAJFF for the Opening Night Gala with a glamourous red carpet event and pre-film reception followed by a Q&A panel with filmmakers Salvador Litvak, writer Nina Davidovich and stars Mark Feuerstein, Mila and Juju Brener and other cast!

Synopsis: A high-octane mystery thriller starring Mark Feuerstein (Defiance), Neal McDonough (Minority Report), Alona Tal (Broken City), with Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) and Dermot Mulroney (Shameless).

Guns & Moses is the story of an affable small town rabbi who becomes an unlikely gunslinger after his community is violently attacked.

Guns & Moses is a neo-western mystery thriller starring Mark Feuerstein (Defiance, Royal Pains) as Mo Zaltzman, a beloved Hasidic rabbi who straps on a Glock to defend his flock, while his inner contradictions cut even deeper. Intuitive and cheerful and offbeat, he always looks for the good in others, but to become a detective and solve the string of murders, he must become a skeptic. Deeper still lies Rabbi Mo’s profound fear that he won’t pull the trigger if he has to, and that he will.
