Pre-Passover Queer Education Session

The story of Passover details the Israelites liberation from oppresion is Mitzrayim (Egypt). In the millenia since this stories origins, Jews have interpreted and re-interpreted this libration narrative in light of the contemporary forms of oppression of our time. This class will examine the Passover narrative and open discussion about it themes in the context of Queer liberation. In this time of increasing attacks on Queer identities in America, can the Passover story provide guidance and hope to us as we dream of liberation from oppression. Join this exploration and discussion as we move in to the Passover season and seek freedom from this era’s Mitzrayim.
