Join The L A Jewish Film Festival for a special evening in partnership with Director Dani Menkin and friends, and The Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles, to honor Alon Aboutboul – a remarkable and talented Israeli actor who left us too soon. Alon was not only a cinematic icon but also a cherished member of the Los Angeles community.
We’ll screen the Ophir Award-winning, multi-award-winning, and critically acclaimed feature film, “Is That You?”, directed by Dani Menkin, in which Alon delivered one of his most unforgettable performances.The screening will be followed by a moving tribute (and sometimes funny) conversation with Dani and Alon’s friends and family.
