This Friday night Shabbat we unite in Silver Lake’s Jewish Community.

We gather as one to support each other,

We stand in solidarity with our Israeli brothers and sisters,

We demonstrate that we are a forever-connected Jewish community.

We come together to hear from a former soldier, to perform acts of kindness (mitzvah) for our fellow brothers and sisters,

We light Shabbat candles in memory of the 1,200 Killed,

We pray for those who have been kidnapped,

and to stand together as a united Jewish community.

To the Silver Lake community, know that we love you and are here to support you.
