Join us for a fun and meaningful mezuzah making workshop, facilitated by the talented artist and Tribe 12 Fellow ('19), Danielle Abrams of HamsaMade! This event is designed exclusively for singles, offering a creative and engaging way to connect with your heritage while meeting new people.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to craft their own mezuzah, a symbol of Jewish tradition and protection for the home. Danielle will guide you through the artistic process, providing insight into the cultural significance of the mezuzah and helping you infuse your creation with personal meaning. Since this event takes place close to Earth Day, we encourage participants to bring something to upcycle and incorporate into their mezuzah design.
Whether you're an artist or a novice, this workshop is tailored to all skill levels. It's a chance to express your creativity, learn about the rich history behind the mezuzah, and connect with other like-minded singles in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Cost: $25 to make and take one mezuzah. A light meal and drinks will be provided.
