ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us for a unique jazz, pop and Broadway excursion across France, Israel, Italy and the United States, enlivened by a sampling of the best of each country’s elixirs of the grape — with a sommelier on hand.
The musical journey will be led by Temple Emanu-El’s very own Cantors Mo Glazman and Sara Anderson. They will be joined by two other distinguished New York musicians: Cantor Sam Rosen of Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, who earned his master’s degree in Jewish history from JTS and was ordained by the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music at HUC-JIR, and Cantorial Soloist Talya Smilowitz of Congregation L’Dor V’Dor in Long Island, a graduate of the Juilliard School who leads a jazz ensemble and has toured Europe with a Klezmer band.
