Join The Neighborhood alongside chef and educator Sylvia Fallas for a cooking class and dinner that will take you through the classic tastes of a Syrian Shavuot, Brooklyn style. Together we will learn more about the role of food in the celebration of this holiday. This culinary event will provide a window into Brooklyn’s vibrant Syrian community, as Chef Sylvia brings her lifelong experiences of food, family, and flavor to the table. Together we will learn recipes that we can bring home and share throughout the holiday and beyond. Registration for this event includes everything you need for the cooking class plus a delicious dinner!
