Talmudic Tastes and Tales: Vegan Recipes and Stories in the Talmud

Join Base Logan Square and EcoJews for one part vegan recipe making and one part Torah learning. We’ll learn a story from the Talmud and then cook a recipe together inspired by that story and taken from Kenden Alfond’s book, Feeding Women of the Talmud, Feeding Ourselves. This series is happening throughout the summer, so watch out for the other session in August! Address and details provided the day before the event.
