It’s so much more than a book club. It’s a discussion about Jewish identity!

Join The Shabbat Drop, a weekly Jewish newsletter*, for our first book club meeting! No matter where you are in the world, we’ll meet a few times a year on Zoom (link will be emailed the morning of – if you’re in NYC, look out for in-person meet ups) to discuss all types of Jewish books, from memoirs to fiction to books on antisemitism, you name it.

We’ll discuss Here All Along, Sarah Hurwitz’s (former Obama speechwriter) memoir of re-discovering her Judaism at 36. Even if you are halfway through the book or never picked it up at all, join us for what will be an engaging discussion on the Jewish journey.

This event was originally planned for October 2023, but was postponed due to the war. With rampant antisemitism and time to reflect, I now feel it’s the time to delve into Judaism and what it means to us.
