The Vashti Ball: A Queer Purim Experience

Let’s face it Purim is the queerest of the Jewish holidays, so we invite the entire Jewish community to experience Purim done right.
If you attended the sold-out Vashti Ball last year…then you know.
If you didn’t, then avoid the FOMO and get your tickets before they sell out again!
New FABULOUS location: HK Hall, 605 W 48th St, Manhattan, NY
Monday, March 6, 2023
6:30pm: Traditional Megillah Reading
7:00pm: Egalitarian Megillah Reading
8pm-9pm: Open Bar (for 21+) and Kosher Persian Feast
9pm-late: Disco Party and Costume Contest
The Vashti Ball is an immersive queer Purim party experience open to all. The evening begins at 6:30pm with the queerest megillah reading you can imagine. The festivities continue with an open bar (for 21+) and Persian feast. 10pm marks the grand runway show where the top costumes win tickets to Six The Musical on Broadway. Then stay for the rockin’ disco dance party!
Under 21? You can still come! This year we are featuring Esther’s Balcony: an alcohol free section with free “mocktail” drinks! Open to all 23 and under. This event ends at 11PM. Special student pricing.
You don’t have to be Jewish or queer to attend!
