Trybal Volunteers: Bubbes, Birthdays, and Bagels

Spend an afternoon decorating cards and wrapping gifts for the elderly. For this event, we will be partnering with DOROT, a non-profit focused on alleviating social isolation and loneliness among older adults.

???? Purchase a hand-picked birthday gift* for an isolated senior, and wrap it at the event.

???? Decorate unique homemade cards* to send to older adults for their birthdays, holidays, or "just because”.

???? Nosh on some bagels and socialize with your fellow volunteers.

Register by Thurs 3/1 (Venmo @scott-kramer-14). To confirm registration, you must rsvp as Going on Partiful after payment. Ticket sales help cover the cost of the classroom rental, wrapping and art supplies, and food.

*Each participant is expected to bring one $5-$10 birthday gift to the event (in addition to the $10 paid to help cover the event costs). Example birthday gifts include mugs, blankets, puzzle books, books, pens, non-slip socks, lotion, jigsaw puzzles, etc.
