Young Professionals Tu B’Shevat Hike
Join Adas Israel’s Young Professionals on Saturday, January 31st as we celebrate Tu B’Shevat with a relaxing winter walk in Rock Creek Park. We will meet on the patio in front of Adas right after kiddush (leaving 1 pm) and take a light hike together to Boulder Bridge to mark the new year for the trees. The entire path is paved. Weather permitting, we will sit for a bit at the benches outside Pierce Mill and plan to return by 3 pm. Please dress warmly!
Our intended route:
Rain date: Saturday, February 7.
Participants are encouraged to make a donation in honor of Tu B’Shevat to Adamah, a Jewish environmental organization.
About Adas Israel Congregation
Adas Israel seeks to create a unique, shared space where we can discover what it means to be human and to be part of a sacred community. Through the medium of Judaism, we foster moments that celebrate the joy and wonder…
• of being alive
• of being connected to the world
• of feeling amazed by life
• of being awed by God
• of finding intimacy & connection in the presence of each other
In that joy and wonder, we seek to travel the path of sacred action, kindness, and repairing the world.
