Palm Beach Synagogue

Palm Beach Synagogue is a community-oriented Modern Orthodox synagogue that welcomes Jews of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of observance. Under the spiritual guidance of Rabbi Moshe Scheiner, the synagogue offers daily morning and afternoon/evening minyanim, weekly Shabbat services, and a full spectrum of educational programs for children, teens, and adults, along with holiday programming, a women’s chodesh group, youth activities, and lectures and special events.

Founded in January 1994 when a small group began holding traditional Shabbat services at Temple Emanu-El in Palm Beach, the congregation grew rapidly following the arrival of Rabbi Moshe and Rebbetzin Dinie Scheiner, who built the gathering into a flourishing center of Jewish life now serving hundreds of member families. The synagogue’s philosophy centers on reaching out to fellow Jews and reconnecting them with their heritage, regardless of their starting point of observance.

Today the synagogue, also known as The Feuerstein Jewish Center, occupies an architecturally notable building recognized with a 2016 Faith & Form/IFRAA Religious Art and Architecture Award, and it runs a robust Hebrew School, teen learning institute, leadership programs, and social/special-needs programming, making it a hub of Jewish activity in Palm Beach year-round and especially during the winter season.
