JCFS Chicago has strengthened the lives of children, teens, adults, and families for more than 160 years. When people need help, JCFS Chicago is ready to provide caring and healing services to guide them from crisis to calm, from anguish to awareness, and from isolation to support. With services infused with Jewish values and compassion, JCFS works to make the community inclusive and accessible for people of all ages and abilities.

Each year, more than 22,000 individuals and families turn to JCFS for expert, individualized help as they strive to live successfully in their community. Offering over 30 programs at 10 locations across Chicagoland, services span mental health counseling, psychological testing, early childhood development, special education (K–12), disability support, career and employment services, immigration assistance, and Jewish community programming.

JCFS Chicago proudly works to strengthen Jewish families and the broader Jewish community through culturally sensitive programs and services. The organization serves people of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, religions, and ethnic backgrounds, welcoming all who need help.
