The JCC of Greater New Haven, founded in 1912, is a Jewish Community Center located in Woodbridge, Connecticut that serves as a common meeting ground for the entire community regardless of faith, background, or orientation. Its mission is to facilitate total wellness through programs that stimulate mind, body, and spirit, and it strives to make a tangible link with Judaism available to every Jewish individual, including the unaffiliated.
The JCC operates a full-service fitness and aquatics center, along with early learning and preschool programs, summer day camps, and youth and adult enrichment classes. It is open seven days a week, closing only for major Jewish holidays, and offers social, cultural, educational, and recreational programming for members of all ages and backgrounds.
As part of the broader JCC Movement affiliated with JCC Association of North America, the JCC of Greater New Haven aims to strengthen Jewish family ties, deepen understanding of the Jewish role in society, and contribute positively to community life in the greater New Haven area.
