About IsraAID

IsraAID is a non-governmental international humanitarian aid organization based in Israel, founded in 2001 as a coalition of Israeli organizations working in disaster relief and international development. It has since grown into an independent NGO and the largest humanitarian aid organization in Israel, deploying emergency response teams, medics, search and rescue squads, and post-trauma experts to crisis zones around the world.

Over more than two decades, IsraAID has worked in emergency and long-term development settings in more than 50 countries, responding to earthquakes, hurricanes, epidemics, and forced displacement crises. Its programs span emergency response, psychosocial support, water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health, education, and livelihood support, with the guiding philosophy of going wherever it’s needed for as long as it takes.

IsraAID partners with local communities to provide urgent aid, assist recovery, and reduce the risk of future disasters, maintaining a presence across multiple continents through country offices and mission teams (including in the US, Canada, Colombia, Ukraine, Mexico, and Guatemala). The organization is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, and also maintains a US affiliate, IsraAID (US) Global Humanitarian Assistance, Inc., to support its fundraising and operations in North America.
