About Hebrew SeniorLife

Founded in 1903, Hebrew SeniorLife is a nonprofit, non-sectarian organization built on Jewish values of honoring and respecting elders. It is the largest provider of elder care in the Boston metropolitan area, serving thousands of seniors each day across nine campuses and communities in Boston, Brookline, Canton, Dedham, Randolph, and Revere.

As an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Hebrew SeniorLife delivers a full continuum of senior care and services, including independent living, assisted living, long-term chronic and post-acute rehabilitation care, memory care, and in-home services. Its flagship Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Boston offers world-class geriatric medical care in a homelike setting.

Beyond direct care, Hebrew SeniorLife is a national leader in aging research and education through its Institute for Aging Research (Marcus Institute for Aging Research), and it trains hundreds of students, interns, residents, and fellows annually in geriatric disciplines. The organization welcomes patients and residents of all faiths and backgrounds, providing equal access to high-quality health care and senior living regardless of religion, culture, race, sexual orientation, gender expression, or class background.
