Jewish Long Beach

Jewish Long Beach is the result of mergers between the Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Long Beach and West Orange County, and later the Barbara & Ray Alpert Jewish Community Center. A member of the Jewish Federations of North America, it is a dynamic, independent 501(c)(3) organization serving the Greater Long Beach and West Orange County Jewish community.

Through the Alpert Jewish Community Center campus, Jewish Long Beach offers preschool, day camp, sports, recreation, fitness, and cultural programs for people of all ages. The organization also engages in philanthropy and grantmaking through its Foundation arm, community relations and advocacy through its Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), and broader Federation work including fundraising, planning, and support for Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world.

Jewish Long Beach traces its roots back to 1948 and today serves as a central hub connecting residents to Jewish community events, education, social services, and organizations throughout the region.
