About United Jewish Federation of Utah

The United Jewish Federation of Utah is the central Jewish communal organization for the state. It is based in Salt Lake City on the campus of the Wagner Jewish Community Center. It is part of the North American network of Jewish Federations. Its mission is to protect and enhance the well-being of Jews worldwide through contributions to community, Israel, and civil society.

The Federation runs community programming, raises funds, and supports Jewish and other social-good organizations. Its work includes local social-welfare efforts, humanitarian relief, Jewish education and engagement initiatives, Holocaust commemoration, and community security and advocacy against antisemitism. It also supports partner organizations such as Hillel for Utah and takes part in missions and global Jewish causes.

Whether someone has just moved to Utah or is looking to get involved for the first time, the Federation welcomes everyone. It offers a way to connect with Jewish life, volunteer, and give so that donations reach local and global needs.
