Avi Issacharoff is a film and TV creator and producer who co-created and wrote the Netflix series Fauda with Lior Raz, which won the Israeli Academy Award for Best TV Drama in 2016 and was later acquired by Netflix for global distribution.
Issacharoff previously served as the Arab affairs columnist for Ha’aretz and as Middle East affairs correspondent for Israeli Public Radio, where he won the “Best Reporter” award in 2002 for his coverage of the Second Intifada. He is currently the Middle East analyst for Yedioth Acharonot and Ynet.
