ABOUT THIS EVENT
Between figuring out what’s for dinner, finishing up one more email, and getting everyone where they need to be, Friday can fly by before you’ve had a chance to catch your breath.
Shabbat, Just Because, invites you to do something a little different: sit down, share a meal, catch up, and enjoy being together. Shabbat is the Jewish day of rest and offers a chance to step away from the week’s usual rhythm to enjoy rest, connection, and joy.
We’ll welcome Shabbat, share a meal, and explore what it can look like to bring Jewish wisdom into an ordinary Friday night.
No holiday. No milestone. No special occasion. Just Shabbat, just because.
If you have any questions, please email Julia Rothschild at jrothschild@jecc.org. After you register, we will email you the event location.
