Gather with other young professionals at Wade Oval for Sip in the Sukkah, a relaxed afternoon to hang out, enjoy cider and mocktails, and experience the Sukkot holiday in Sukkah Village.

Sukkot is the Jewish harvest festival, a time to gather in celebration with gratitude. A sukkah is a temporary outdoor structure built for Sukkot, where people eat, gather, and reflect on the beauty and uncertainty of life . Grab a drink, settle into the sukkah, and enjoy a Sip of Learning as we explore Sukkot and what this ancient holiday can teach us about making space for ourselves and others today. 

Sukkah Village features three unique sukkot, including two smaller sukkot and one large 16×24-foot sukkah, each designed to spark reflection and conversation about what it means to honor yourself, your family, and the world around you.

Good to know: jHUB’s family Sukkah Village program will wrap up just as Sip in the Sukkah begins. Look for jHUB staff nearby who will be gathering young professionals and directing you to the separate event.

If you’d like to explore Sukkah Village beyond this event, the installation will be open to the public throughout the holiday, September 26–October 2.

Where in Wade Oval is the Sukkah Village?

The Sukkah Village will be in the southwest corner of the park. We’ll email you a handy map before the event!

Where should I park? 

Free street parking is available around Wade Oval Drive. There are three parking garages nearby: The CMNH Parking Garage, the Cleveland Botanical Garden Parking Garage, and the Cleveland Museum of Art Parking Garage. 

Who is this event for?
