Shabbat in Somerset, made easy.
Join Jessica Kiedes for a relaxed Friday night at Temple Sholom for Jewish adults in their 20s and 30s. Begin with a local temple service, then gather for candle lighting, blessings, dinner, and unhurried conversation. Come alone or bring a friend—no membership or prior Shabbat experience is required.
What to expect
A real Friday night, without the awkwardness.
The evening starts with a temple service and continues around the dinner table. We’ll light candles, say the blessings, eat, and leave room for the kind of conversation that helps people actually get to know one another.
Welcoming to newcomers and people reconnecting with Shabbat
No membership, dues, or prior religious knowledge required
Come solo, bring a friend, or meet Jessica when you arrive
