The Jews of London: One Thousand Years of History
October 2, 2022 @ 9:00 pm - October 3, 2022 @ 10:30 pm CEST
Join us on a journey through the streets and alleys of London to discover the history of the Jews in England. From the arrival of a Jewish community from Normandy in 1066/67 to the Kindertransport children of 1938/39, Jews have played essential roles in the unfolding drama of British history. On our journey, we will encounter many colorful characters and visit some of the most spectacular sites in the City, revealing the little-known Jewish associations of some of London’s most famous landmarks.

About Ian Fagelson
I studied law at the universities of Southampton and Oxford, going on to work as a City lawyer. After serving more than 35 years as a lawyer (including a stint as the senior UK partner of a major US law firm) I got time off for good behavior and decided to do something interesting instead. So I studied history at University College London and qualified as a guide in the Cities of London and Westminster. Introducing guests to the splendors and secrets of my hometown is my passion. I try to make my tours a mixture of fun and fact (with some of the facts being funny and some of the fun being factual).
