ABOUT THIS EVENT
Come join us at Comfort Food & Egg Creams Shabbat, a cozy and delicious Friday night gathering held at our temple. We are kicking off the weekend with a hearty, comforting meal prepared in a kosher dairy kitchen: salad, baked ziti, and eggplant parmesan, followed by a sweet dessert. The highlight of the night will be our interactive “Make Your Own Egg Cream” station, where you can mix up this classic nostalgic treat exactly to your liking.
We will begin our evening together by sharing the traditional Shabbat blessings over the candles, wine, and challah before diving into dinner. As we eat, we will have some lighthearted icebreaker activities to help everyone get to know each other, share a few laughs, and connect.
After we wrap up dinner, the choice is yours. You are invited to join the community for temple services starting at 7:30 PM, or you are welcome to stay exactly where you are, keep relaxing, and continue hanging out with new and old friends. Whether you are a lifelong egg cream fan or have never tried one before, we cannot wait to share this evening of food, fun, and community with you!
