TRIBE: Reverse Tashlich Beach Clean Up
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join the TRIBE and the Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast for the annual Reverse Tashlich Beach Clean Up event! This event takes place WORLDWIDE and was born right here in Tampa Bay – help us make the home base of this event a huge success!
By joining the Reverse Tashlich movement, you will help restore local waterways, protect marine life, and raise awareness about water pollution – turning the Jewish spiritual ritual of Tashlich into tangible environmental action and inspiring others to care for our shared planet.
Date: Sunday, September 6th
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm. Please be on time for an educational & safety briefing!
Location: Redington Shores Beach Access (18200 Sunset Blvd, Redington Shores, FL 33708). Look for a canopy set up on the beach directly out from the parking lot with a Keep Pinellas Beautiful tablecloth (that has lots of beach cleanup gear).
Parking: Onsite (Keep Pinellas Beautiful is working to get free parking passes for all participants – details on this will be emailed to all who register for the event; if we are unable to secure parking passes for the event parking costs $4/hour to park in the large parking lot)

What to bring/wear: close-toed shoes (REQUIRED!), sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), reusable water bottle full of water, and any snacks you may need. Keep Pinellas Beautiful will provide all cleanup gear and a water refill station onsite.
