ABOUT THIS EVENT
Shmini Atzeret is the Jewish calendar’s celebration and commemoration of water, rain, and cycles of flow. At the end of Sukkot, we will gather to honor the role of water in our lives, in the natural world, and in our sacred traditions.
Join The Neighborhood and Beit Kohenet for a special gathering in the Sukkah led by Rabbi Jill Hammer with sacred musicians Shoshana Jedwab, where we will mark Shmini Atzeret with songs, storytelling, group learning, and water rituals.
This event will take place as part of Sukkot in The Neighborhood – a festival of Jewish arts, culture, and spirituality taking place in an art installation Sukkah in Brooklyn.
