    As we mark the one year anniversary since the tragic events of October 7th, 2023, we're holding space for a wide variety of feelings and the diversity of expression of grief, loss, and pain.

  • Judaism and Feminism

    Class participants will have a chance to choose class topics. There will also be a chance to learn about local organizations working on feminist issues and connect with their leaders. All are welcome to participate as long as they come with an open mind and heart. The cost of this cohort is $36 and dinner will be included in each session! No one will be turned away if they are unable to pay. If you have any questions please reach out to Megan to learn more! The class will meet on 4 Tuesday nights (Oct 8, 15, 29 and Nov 12th, one Thursday Oct 23rd for a Feminist Dinner party and one Shabbat dinner November 8th).

    Join Yisod for a reflective Tashlich experience as we gather as a community to throw away our sins (in the form of birdseed), reflect on the difficult year we have experienced since October 7, and dream about our hopes and goals for the coming year. This is the perfect time to connect with old friends, to meet new friends, and to start the year off with a meditative walk and mini-ritual.

    Join our Foodie Tribe Kickoff Event, a Cooking & Conversation with Dizengoff's Head Chef, Remy Glantz. We will hear from Chef Remy about what got him into cooking and his experiences working as Sous Chef at Zahav and Executive Sous Chef, and now Chef de Cuisine (Head Chef), at Dizengoff. We will then work together under the guidance of Chef Remy to prepare a salad that is featured on Dizengoff's menu!
