Company Description Ramat Shalom Beth Israel is a blended Jewish congregation serving Broward County, offering a broad and inclusive perspective on Judaism. While not formally affiliated with a single movement, the community draws inspiration from Reconstructionist, Conservative, and Reform traditions, valuing both historical depth and contemporary relevance. RSBI is a “big tent” congregation that welcomes diverse backgrounds and levels of observance, fostering flexibility alongside Judaism’s rich rituals and practices. Community members come together to worship, study, celebrate life events, seek support, and grow spiritually. The environment is collaborative, warm, and focused on meaningful engagement with Jewish life.
Role Description The Grants Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Broward County, FL, responsible for developing and managing the congregation’s grants portfolio to support programs, operations, and long-term sustainability. The Grants Manager will draft compelling proposals, coordinate supporting documentation, and collaborate with clergy, lay leaders, and staff to align grant objectives with RSBI’s mission and strategic priorities. The role also involves tracking grant requirements, managing reporting and compliance, and monitoring grant-related budgets in partnership with finance staff. In addition, the Grants Manager will help cultivate relationships with funders, maintain accurate records in a grants database, and provide regular updates on funding progress to leadership.
