Role Description The Vice President of Advancement Operations is a full-time, on-site role (Tues-Thurs) based in New York, NY, responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the organization’s advancement and fundraising efforts. This role leads systems and processes for development operations, including gift processing, donor data management, reporting, and analytics to support strategic decision-making. The Vice President collaborates closely with fundraising and program teams to align advancement operations with organizational goals, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with policies and best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising staff, managing prospect tracking, enhancing stewardship and donor recognition practices, and supporting campaigns and initiatives across annual, planned, and major giving. The role also involves working with senior leadership to set benchmarks, monitor performance, and continuously improve tools, technology, and procedures that enhance fundraising effectiveness.
