About 3GHTX
3G HTX is an affinity group of Holocaust Museum Houston that creates an outlet for Holocaust remembrance and education from the perspective of the third generation, mostly grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. As the living generations who heard survivor testimony directly from grandparents grow more distant, 3G HTX empowers descendants to honor, preserve, and transmit their families’ legacies through education, dialogue, and a shared commitment to remembrance.
The group hosts its own programming inside and outside the Museum, including Shabbat dinners, private exhibit tours, and social gatherings, while also participating in wider Holocaust Museum Houston and Jewish Federation of Greater Houston events such as anniversary celebrations and Holocaust remembrance commemorations. 3G HTX is a Living Links affiliate, part of a national network of Holocaust descendant communities.
Led by volunteers such as Adrian Heid, the initiative has received support through the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston’s Impact Fund grants and works closely with Holocaust Museum Houston staff and board members to ensure Holocaust stories and lessons continue to be told for future generations.
