About American Friends of Rabin Medical Center (AFRMC)
American Friends of Rabin Medical Center (AFRMC) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1995, based in Manhattan, New York. Its mission is to support Israel’s Rabin Medical Center in Petach Tikvah — one of Israel’s premier hospital complexes — by funding charitable, educational, and scientific initiatives that advance patient care, medical research, and technology.
Rabin Medical Center is home to world-renowned facilities including the Davidoff Cancer Center, the Recanati Genetics Institute, and the Helen Schneider Women’s and Maternity Hospital. The hospital serves one million patients annually, providing compassionate care regardless of ethnicity, nationality, or religion — to Israeli Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike.
AFRMC facilitates international medical fellowships that bring Rabin physicians to train under leading specialists in the United States, building bridges of knowledge between Israeli and American medicine. Through a variety of programs and fundraising events held across the country, AFRMC channels support directly to the hospital’s centers of excellence and humanitarian medical initiatives.
By partnering with individual donors and corporations, AFRMC promotes new frontiers in global medicine and ensures that Rabin Medical Center continues to deliver advanced, cutting-edge healthcare to all who need it.
