About American Technion Society
The American Technion Society (ATS) is a nationwide community of donors, alumni, and stakeholders dedicated to supporting the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, one of the world’s leading science and technology universities. Founded in 1940, ATS has helped raise billions of dollars to fund groundbreaking research, scholarships, faculty chairs, and state-of-the-art facilities and dormitories on the Technion’s campus in Haifa, Israel.
Beyond direct fundraising, ATS connects a network of regional chapters across the United States, hosting events, lectures, and networking opportunities that engage supporters with the Technion’s scientific breakthroughs and their impact on Israel’s economy and security. The organization has also supported the Technion’s global expansion, including the Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology in China and the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech in New York.
ATS’s mission is to enable the Technion to remain among the world’s leading institutions advancing the well-being of Israel and humanity through leadership in science and technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
