Beit Juhuro

Founded in 2014, Beit Juhuro Cultural and Educational Center strives to preserve the unique identity and culture of the Gorsky Jews through a wide spectrum of activities as well as partnerships with local and international organizations.

Beit Juhuro has rapidly expanded its presence and earned its reputation within the community of New York City as a go to place for social, cultural and religious activities.

With the launching of the Leadership Fellowship Program, 2018 – 2019 has marked a major milestone for Beit Juhuro.

A joint venture with RAJE USA, and STMEGI – Russia based philanthropic organization, the Leadership Fellowship Program catered to young professionals ages 18 -35, held weekly classes for 20 weeks.

Upon successful completion of the program, 25 people went on a heritage trip to Azerbaijan, the birth place of many members of our community.

Beit Juhuro continues its growth locally, and hand in hand makes a worldwide impact through successful joint ventures with local and international organizations.

By empowering the next generation of leaders, we are strengthening the cultural identity, advancing the rich heritage of our community, and preparing them for the challenges of the rapidly changing world.
