About Donna Klein Jewish Academy
Donna Klein Jewish Academy (DKJA) is a co-educational, K–12 private Jewish day school located in Boca Raton, Florida. Founded in 1979 and renamed in 1987 in honor of Donna Klein, the school is dedicated to providing an innovative educational experience infused with Jewish values, empowering students to realize their dreams with confidence, integrity, and purpose.
DKJA’s dual curriculum blends rigorous college-preparatory academics with a robust Judaic Studies program, ensuring students graduate as both accomplished scholars and committed members of the Jewish community. From Shabbat and Tefillah to cultural programs, lifecycle celebrations, and acts of tikkun olam, each day on campus reflects the values of L’dor V’dor—honoring the past while shaping the future.
The school’s Jewish philosophy emphasizes instilling a love for Israel and Jewish identity through formal and experiential education. Upper school students participate in the March of the Living, a transformative senior-year program that brings students to Poland and Israel to confront Holocaust history and reflect on their responsibilities as global citizens.
With approximately 760 students, 143 faculty members, and accreditations from SACS, FCIS, and FKC, DKJA continues to be a premier Jewish Community Day School in South Florida, guided by its mission to educate knowledgeable and responsible citizens of the world committed to Jewish values and lifelong learning.
