Federation CJA West Island

Federation CJA West Island is the West Island campus of Federation CJA, the central philanthropic, planning, and coordinating body for Montreal’s Jewish community. Based at 96 Roger-Pilon Street in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, it serves as a local hub for Jewish life on the West Island, offering community members a way to connect, volunteer, and get involved regardless of background.

The campus hosts a variety of programs geared toward teens, young adults, and families with younger children, along with events designed to build relationships and foster connection within the community. It also organizes an annual community celebration for Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, bringing residents together to mark the occasion.

As part of Federation CJA, the West Island campus is connected to a century-old network of agencies and organizations that provide services spanning Jewish education, camps, social services, and community security, extending Federation CJA’s broader mission of preserving and strengthening Jewish life in Montreal. Volunteer opportunities such as Tikun Olam Volunteers (TOV) give community members hands-on, short-term ways to support those who depend on Federation CJA and its family of agencies.
