About FIDF Young Leadership – New York
FIDF Young Leadership-New York (YL-NY) numbers over 10,000 young professionals ages 21-40 from across the Tri-State region who represent a broad cross section of Jewish observance.
YL-NY is governed by a dedicated group of 40 volunteer Board Members, who is responsible for programming outreach activities such as Shabbat Dinners and Parlor Meetings with visiting active duty IDF soldiers. YL-NY also hosts several fundraising events, such as the annual Purim, Beginning and End of Summer Parties.
YL-NY hosts many celebrated events, including the Annual Gala, bringing together over 1,500 young Tri-State area professionals for dancing, live entertainment, delicious food, and casino-style gambling for over $150,000 in luxury prizes! The group also holds an Annual Mission to Israel, bringing over 30 participants from around the US to experience Israel and the IDF from the inside.
