About Israel Bonds
Israel Bonds is the commonly known name of the Development Corporation for Israel (DCI), the exclusive U.S. underwriter of debt securities issued by the State of Israel. Founded in 1951 following a Knesset vote to launch Israel’s first bond issue, the organization has spent over seventy years serving as a financial bridge between global investors and Israel, channeling investment dollars into the country’s infrastructure, technology, agriculture, and other vital sectors.
Rather than accepting donations, Israel Bonds offers general obligation bonds backed by the full faith and credit of the State of Israel, giving individuals, institutions, and organizations a way to support Israel’s economic development while earning a financial return. DCI is headquartered in New York City and is a registered broker-dealer and FINRA member, with affiliated entities selling bonds internationally through Canada-Israel Securities, Ltd., Development Company for Israel GmbH (Europe), and Development Company for Israel, Ltd. (UK).
Israel Bonds has played a particularly visible role during moments of national crisis, most recently generating billions of dollars in global investment in the wake of the October 7, 2023 attacks. The organization continues to position itself as a trusted economic partner to the State of Israel, connecting the global Jewish community and Israel’s supporters to the country’s ongoing growth and resilience.
