About Jewish Care

Jewish Care is the leading health and social care charity supporting the Jewish community in London and the South-East of England, with a history dating back to 1859. It runs over 70 centres and services each week, reaching thousands of people, including older people, those with dementia, people with mental health needs, Holocaust survivors, and individuals with disabilities such as MS, Parkinson’s, and visual impairment.

The charity’s services include care homes and day centres, community centres offering activities such as yoga, pottery, ballroom dancing, Hebrew classes and Israeli film nights, social clubs, a specialist therapy centre for Holocaust survivors and refugees, bereavement support, and youth leadership, recreational, educational and cultural programmes.

Jewish Care is a UK-registered charity (Reg. No. 802559) based in Golders Green, North London, supported by a large professional staff and thousands of volunteers who help deliver its services across the community.
