Jewish Family Service of Cincinnati

Jewish Family Service of Cincinnati (JFS) is a nonprofit human services agency guided by Jewish values that has served the greater Cincinnati community for decades. Its mission is to strengthen lives and enhance the diverse community by providing exceptional and transformational human services, striving for a community where everyone lives with dignity, security, and hope.

JFS offers a broad range of programs including older adult and caregiver services, adult day services, the Barbash Family Vital Support Center, the Heldman Family Food Pantry, Adoption Connection, domestic violence support, youth mental health services, and resettlement assistance—having helped thousands of Jewish emigrants from the former Soviet Union over more than 40 years. The agency also partners in K’vod Connect and AgeWell Cincinnati, connecting older adults to a network of community services.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, JFS serves individuals and families of all backgrounds without regard to religion, race, age, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, or ability to pay, reflecting its commitment to compassion, integrity, and excellence in service to the broader community.
