Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte

The Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte (JFGC) serves as the central address of the Jewish community in Charlotte, North Carolina, bringing together volunteers, donors, and nearly 50 partner agencies devoted to meeting the needs of the Jewish community. Its mission is to raise and distribute funds through its annual community campaign to support and enrich the lives of Jews locally, nationally, in Israel, and around the world.

Through education and community-building initiatives, the Federation works to ensure that Jewish values, traditions and culture are passed on to future generations. Its network of nearly 50 partner agencies allows it to provide services ranging from feeding, clothing, and comforting people in need to inspiring, educating, and connecting people to their Jewish identity.

With a legacy spanning more than 75 years, JFGC also runs programs connecting the Charlotte Jewish community with Israel, including hosting Israeli ShinShinim emissaries and organizing solidarity missions to Israel. The Federation continues to adapt its programming to meet the evolving needs of the Jewish community in the greater Charlotte area.
