About Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County
The Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County serves a Jewish community of about 28,000 people. The area spans Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Georgetown, Monroe, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Rowayton, Southport, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport, and Wilton. Its mission is to strengthen, support, and enhance the quality of Jewish life by building inclusive communities, fostering connections among individuals and organizations, and engaging people at all stages of life.
The Federation turns individual generosity into collective impact through its annual campaign, legacy and endowment giving, and employee giving. It funds dozens of local agencies and responds to emerging needs. Its work includes caring for those in need, strengthening Israel and overseas Jewish communities, and standing against antisemitism while helping keep Jewish life safe.
The Federation also runs its own programs, including Merkaz Community High School for Judaic Studies, a Jewish education program for community teens. It offers community calendars, volunteer opportunities, and missions. It is based at 4200 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
