About Kaza Supper Club

Kaza is a supper club celebrating the rich diversity of Sefardi cuisine.

Kaza is a place for strangers to gather, eat, learn and leave as friends. Kaza is a haven for food lovers who want to sample a cuisine, culture and heritage they’ve never encountered before.

All of this is true. But none of this really gets to what the heart of Kaza is. There are so many things that make Kaza special. The food – sourced from authentic Sefardi kitchens, real families and ancient texts. The music – performed live, on guitar, and sung in Ladino, the near-extinct language of Sefardim. The history – every dish has a story, rooted in a culture that spans centuries and continents. And all of this is yours to discover at one of our supper club evenings. But to truly understand what Kaza means, we have to return to the original Ladino. The meaning of the word and the reason for bringing people together around our table. Put simply, kaza means home.
